Gargoub Seaport Project: 
A 30 years concession BOT Project. In addition to building the superstructure, using the facilities, managing, operating and maintaining the ready dry bulk, logistics and industrial station for the port of Gergoub in Marsa Matrouh Governorate.

Alexandria Port Authority I the concession Authority, Golden Wings Company is the concessionaire, and THE D I O R GROUP is the Project Management Office (PMO), for the Construction and development of the superstructure, maintenance, operation and redelivery of a grain station and an integrated logistics and industrial area at Gergoub seaport.

The area allocated for the project is 500 thousand square meters and a berth with a depth of 17 meters and a length of 500 meters out of a total of 7000 meters of commercial berths at the port to receive the largest dry bulk ships and grains in particular.

The projects of this area are unique as the area is specialized in grain trading, and grain-related industries such as feed, oils and various food industries.

The project aims to create integrated development plan within Matrouh Governorate and the entire Northwest Coast region. The project comes within the Ministry of Transport’s plan as a logistics station served by the high-speed electric train network currently being built in preparation for linking with the city of Salloum. It is also served by the international coastal road currently being developed from Port Said to the city of Salloum, with a length of 800 km, which is considered the main road linking the Egyptian seaports on the Mediterranean.

Four of the five largest international shipping lines operate in Egyptian ports, namely Maersk, Hutchison, CMA and Hapag-Lloyd, noting the great interest in cooperating with the international and Egyptian private sector in major national projects, and attracting international shipping lines to ports.
